You don't need to know how to ride to start learning to play polo, and you can learn to play polo at Overbrook at any age, from young adult to retiree.  Our instructor will have you hitting the ball on a reliable polo horse during your first lesson.

During your lesson, you will learn how to control and understand your horse, safety rules, and the basic swings at your own pace.   During mock chukkers at a slow pace or walk, your instructor and teammates will pass the ball to you so you can learn the rules of the game and make your first goal!

Overbrook Polo is all about friends, fresh air, horses, healthy exercise, teamwork, and camaraderie. Every member of the club looks forward to helping new players progress.  

 

Our Sunday games are played at a moderate pace that takes it easy on our polo ponies and on our players.  Our top priority is making sure that everyone has a fun time and feels like a part of the group.  We aren't just friends, we're teammates!
